BAMBOO

Bamboo stringers run down the centre of our lightweight Poplar core, incorporating the inserts and delivering a solid, poppy ride with added strength.


Bamboo Core

Our lightweight poplar core combined with 2 bamboo stringers in the center also covering the insert area gives the board a very poppy feeling. Another benefit is the added strenght and a more stiffer feeling but without loosing the liveliness of the board.


BASALT

Basalt fibres are stronger and lighter than regular fiberglass and less brittle than carbon. This allows us to build lighter, more durable boards with improved flex. Our most responsive flex patterns feature two 40mm wide stringers on top and two on the bottom for improved performance.


Basalt Stringers

Basalt fibers are stronger then regular fiberglass with the same weight. This means we can build lighter boards with better flex properties. Basalt fibers are not as rigid as Carbon fibers, this means the board breaks not that easy! Basalt features 2 stringers on top & 2 on the bottom for our most responsive flex pattern.


Camba

Camba is Head’s traditional camber profile. The board is convex from the tip and tail contact points to an apex in the center of the board, which delivers optimum power transfer for pop and intense manouverability and grip.


CAMBA

Camba, Head’s take on regular camber, remains the profile of choice for more seasoned and skilful riders. This is because of its reactive pop, precision and positive edge-hold.


CAP BOARD ARCHITECTURE

The definition of Cap Board Architecture is when both topsheet and fiberglass are laid onto a full Wood Core to seal the board's edges. Boards built with cap core are lighter, as sidewalls become obsolete.


CONTROL BOARD ARCHITECTURE

40mm Basalt and a lightweight poplar core ensure that Control Board Architecture is light, durable, and has perfect flex.


EASY BOARD ARCHITECTURE

A hyper-reactive, lightweight poplar core that is indestructible.

Flocka

Flocka delivers the best of both worlds, with the precision and predictability of camber and the playfulness of and “catch-free” ride of rocker. In short Flocka has a broken in feel but with the solid pop of a new stick.


FLOCKA

Flocka combines the playfulness of rocker with the precision and predictability of camber. It is also endowed with a progressive radius giving the board the effective edge of a tradition camber board when on an edge.


Framewall

Our all new Framewall has a higher sidewall working as a torsion frame that adds extra stiffness and control to the board. The Framewall also helps your board to absorb smaller shockwaves: The profile of the Framewall creates a continious pressure over the whole edge.


FRAMEWALL

The ISPO Gold Award winning Framewall is multifaceted, as it adds stiffness and control to the board, absorbs shock and delivers an even pressure along the board’s edges for added control and reactivity.


GRAPHENE

2D Graphene is the thinnest, lightest, strongest material ever made. Although the thickness of an atom it is also more indestructible than diamond and 300 times stronger than steel.


HAMMERHEAD

Hammerhead Tip and Tail delivers a larger surface area in the tip and tail for increased control on landing and better power distribution for take-offs. To save weight and for a cool retro style we also cut nice grabable cups out of the tip and tail.

Hammerhead Tip and Tail is our tribute to the past. It features a larger surface area in the tip and tail for more control when landing. Also this greater surface area better distributes power in takeoffs. As a weight-saving measure Head cut into the tip and tail giving the board a unique, retro style.


HOVER BOARD ARCHITECTURE

Hover Board Architecture is the marriage of Head’s lightweight, strong Poplar core and Bamboo stringers that add pop and strength.


Hybrid Camba DCT

The Hybrid Camba DCT shape is a evolution of our classic CAMBA shape. The DCT shape of our Hybrid Camba line has Camba under the bindings and a flat part between the bindings combined with a more narrow waist and a more aggressive sidecut in this area for sharpe turns and quicker initiation of rotation during the take off on big kickers. The pop loaded camber starts just inside of the binding area and goes all the way to the conact points in tip & tail.


HYBRID CAMBA DCT

Hybrid Camba DCT features a mix of regular and flat camber and a tapered, narrow waist for increased torsional flex. Outstanding edge hold comes from the camber under the bindings, while flat camber between delivers responsive fun.


HYBRID CAMBA POP

The Hybrid Camba POP is composed of a shorter pintail, a long wider nose and extra volume for float. Combined these characteristics allow for the riding of a shorter board without the loss of float or reactivity. An elevated flat camber under the setback bindings makes the board responsive and a flat middle delivers lift to the tip and tail when activated.


Intellifibers

Intellifibers are piezoelectric fibers that absorb energy from edge-to-edge turns and stiffen up to give more control and power to the board.


KERS

KERS, or Kinetic Energy Recovery System, is a technology that Head adopted from Formula 1. Its job is to harvest kinetic energy from edge-to-edge riding, store it in piezoelectric elements in the tip and tail of the board and release it by stiffening those areas up when additional support is needed.


KERS Technology

KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) is a system we’ve adapted straight from Formula 1 to harvest kinetic energy produced during edge-to-edge transferred to electric energy via piezoelectric fibres and stored in the KERS chip. This is then fed it back to you when you ollie or power carve. The upshot is you’ll be fired out of turns and get insane pop off transitions.


LIBRA BOARD ARCHITECTURE I

A playful, lightweight Rocka board, with enhanced control thanks to the elevated weight-saving and power conductive Graphene tip and tail; it delivers better float in the pow and has an easy nature for jibs.

The combined fun and precision of rocker and flat camber is boosted by Graphene inserts in the tip and tail, delivering a super lightweight, responsive ride with the fun and lift of rocker.

This is the top of the line board architecture for progressive girl rippers, endowed with the combined Camber shape of Hybrid Camba DCT, which is improved with the insertion of a lightweight, responsive Graphene centre, delivering supreme grip and premium control.


LONG DIRECTIONAL

Long Directional is designed specifically for ridability in the backcountry, providing stability, speed and lift; it can also be comfortably ridden switch making backcountry tricks a cinch.

Rocka

Rocka is Head’s easy-riding, “catch-free” concave camber profile, ideal for smooth presses and butters, lift in the pow and an effortless slide in the streets or on the mountain.
