FAS stands for Fast Aluminum Super buckle. They are super fast, low profile, bombproof buckles for cranking binding straps just as a rider likes them.

Silicon pads under the toe and heel were added to the full-length shock-absorbent EVA base pad for added cushioning in the zones you need it.
